Abundant Living respects your privacy and is committed to handling your personal and health information carefully and respectfully.
This Privacy Policy explains how Abundant Living collects, uses, stores and protects your information when you enquire about, book or participate in our services.
Abundant Living operates in Australia and provides complementary wellbeing services, including Biofield Tuning. This Privacy Policy is intended to be consistent with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles and applicable NSW privacy and health information requirements.
1. What information do we collect?
The information we collect depends on how you interact with Abundant Living.
This may include:
your name and contact details
information provided when you make an enquiry or book a session
information contained in your client consent or intake form
information you choose to share with us about your health, wellbeing or circumstances that may be relevant to your session
information relating to your sessions and your interactions with Abundant Living
payment information where required to process a payment
information you provide when communicating with us by phone, email or messaging platforms.
We only seek to collect information that is reasonably necessary for providing and managing our services.
Health information is sensitive information and is handled with particular care.
2. How do we collect your information?
We may collect information:
directly from you when you make an enquiry or booking
when you complete a client consent or intake form
during or after a session
when you communicate with us by email, phone or messaging platform
through booking or business platforms used to manage appointments
when you make a payment.
At present, our website contact form does not collect health information.
As Abundant Living develops, including with the introduction of additional services such as Spinal Flow, our information collection practices may change. This Privacy Policy will be updated when those practices change.

We collect and use your information to:
respond to enquiries
arrange and manage appointments
provide and personalise our services
understand information relevant to your participation in a session
maintain appropriate client records
communicate with you about your appointments or services
process payments

protect the safety and wellbeing of clients and others.
We will not use your health information for direct marketing unless you have given the required consent.
4. How do we use and disclose your information?
We generally use your information for the purpose for which it was collected, or for a directly related purpose that you would reasonably expect.
We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to:
provide our services
process payments
use booking, communication or technology services that support our business
comply with a legal requirement
protect someone's life, health or safety where permitted by law
respond to a request that you have authorised.
We do not sell or trade your personal or health information.
We will not disclose your health information to another health professional, practitioner or organisation without your consent unless disclosure is permitted or required by law.
If you choose to provide information about your sessions to us through a messaging or communication platform, that information may also be subject to that platform's own privacy practices.
5. Remote sessions and third-party platforms
Remote sessions may currently be conducted using platforms such as:
WhatsApp
FaceTime
Facebook Messenger.
Payments from overseas clients may be processed through PayPal.
These services are operated by third parties and may involve information being stored or processed outside Australia. Their own privacy policies and terms also apply to your use of those services.
We take reasonable steps to ensure that information shared through these services is handled appropriately.
6. How do we protect your information?
We take reasonable steps to protect personal and health information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
Depending on the nature of the information, this may include appropriate password protection, secure electronic storage, limiting access to information and taking care when transmitting or storing client information.
Where information is no longer required to be retained, it will be securely destroyed or de-identified where appropriate and permitted by law.
Health records may need to be retained for periods required by applicable NSW law.
7. How long do we keep your information?
We retain personal and health information only for as long as reasonably necessary and in accordance with applicable legal and record-keeping requirements.
For health information, specific NSW requirements may apply to how long records must be retained. We will retain client health information for the applicable minimum period and securely dispose of it when it is no longer required.
8. Accessing or correcting your information
You have rights to request access to personal and health information that Abundant Living holds about you, and to request that information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date be corrected.

9. Overseas disclosure
Some of the technology and payment services used by Abundant Living may store or process information outside Australia.
These may include communication and payment platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, FaceTime and PayPal.
Where personal or health information is disclosed overseas, we will take reasonable steps to comply with applicable privacy requirements.
10. Marketing communications
Abundant Living does not currently operate an email marketing list.
If we introduce email marketing or other direct marketing in the future, we will only use personal or health information for marketing in accordance with applicable privacy laws and any consent requirements.
You will be able to opt out of direct marketing communications.

Our website may use standard technologies such as cookies or analytics tools to help us understand website usage and improve the website.
These technologies may collect information such as browser type, device information, pages visited and general website activity.
We do not use our website to intentionally collect sensitive health information unless this is clearly explained to you and appropriate consent is obtained.
